The successful Service Manager will accomplish the following for approximately 12 customer sites with active Service Agreements in place
Establish strong customer relationships through frequent direct contact and service delivery that helps to increase customer profits and reduces risk.
Deliver on contractual obligations (Service Agreements, catalyst sales commitments, etc.)
Work closely with other functions in UOP to deliver UOP's full portfolio of products and services.
Ensure all service delivery to existing customers – e.g., Connected, LST execution.
Work with Account Manager to:
Maintain a detailed account plan and forecast based on the customer’s turnaround dates. These plans must align with expectations of other UOP business units.
Transact sales with existing customers
Identify opportunities for customer value creation by developing leads. This includes proactively prospecting for new units, identifying bottlenecks to promote revamp opportunities, look for performance improvements that Connected could improve as well as letting the Account Manager know of possible catalyst and adsorbent opportunities within existing customer set
Act as a customer gateway into UOP, providing the background and context needed to allow UOP to deliver the right solutions.
Leverage HON business potential within target accounts (One Honeywell mindset).
The Service Manager will be assigned to non-Service Solution customers for occasional assistance using The Customer Portal and Misc. Service Agreements. This is expected to be less than 20% of one’s time. The Service Manager will work to implement Service Solution agreements where possible.
Must have ability to travel up to 40% annually to both domestic and international sites *
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the refining and petrochemicals industries
Minimum of 8 years of UOP Service, UOP Engineering or equivalent industry (non-UOP) process operations, technical service, or design experience.
WE VALUE
BS degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
Significant prior experience in two UOP Process technologies is highly preferred
Assigned customer base will recognize value of this work experience immediately
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid comprehensive problem-solving skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
