- Responsible for designing and optimizing Wix’s large-scale database infrastructure according to high availability, scalability, and performance principles
- Identify new areas for cost-effective improvement in current databases
- Explore new features, versions, and databases according to requirements
- Work with developers and software architects in modeling, creating and maintaining data structures and Wix’s data layer
- Lead and execute technical DB-related POCs and benchmarks
- Auditing database design regularly to maintain quality and SLA demands
- Quickly identify and resolve critical and hard production issues
- Provide on-call support when needed
