Understand HCM market and competitive developments to inform product positioning, market segmentation, pricing and internal enablement.
Work closely with Analyst Relations to determine the analyst engagement strategy for SAP SuccessFactors and help drive the execution of the engagement process with Gartner and other tier 1 HCM analysts.
Track performance and measure effectiveness of product marketing initiatives in alignment with marketing KPIs.Apply data-driven approach to optimization strategies for positioning, marketing & selling our HCM suite.
Naming, Positioning and Messaging:
Define how SAP SuccessFactors solutions will be competitively positioned to win in the HCM market and exhibitexcellent storytelling skills to clearly articulate our differentiation across all channels.
Decide the brand and naming of product and features, working with the brand/naming team to ensure best practices.
Oversee creation and delivery of the global product/feature value positioning & messaging frameworks for unique segments and personas that guide all downstream content creation.
Drive all aspects of the product value proposition lifecycle from product release readiness gate, announcement & on-going product communications, and digital customer journey, demonstrating customer, competitor & market understanding at each step.
Product Releases and Launches
Work closely with product, engineering, and design teams to align product marketing efforts with product development and customer needs.
Collaborate with product & engineering on 1H/2H releases and other new product/feature launches, along with Marketing, G2M and Sales to ensure our plans generate qualified leads and drive pipeline growth
Drive customer communications, including the timing and messaging of public roadmap updates and sap.com & community.sap.com information
Partner with G2M to define the product enablement priorities for SAP sales and partners globally, and deliver the necessary sales training and enablement content/materials so our direct and channel teams can hit their targets.
Market Evangelism:
Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise of our HCM suite/solutions and represent this depth to stakeholders inside and outside the company.
Educate sales and presales teams, lead gen teams, and partners so they are competent in communicating the value of our HCM suite to support awareness, lead gen and solution adoption efforts.
Represent SAP SuccessFactors at internal and external SAP events and industry conferences, generating excitement around our product value and vision.
Engage with customers and partners directly to land SAP SuccessFactors value prop and key innovations in alignment with their needs and interests, driving a feedback loop for optimization of positioning and messaging.
Brief HCM analysts and influencers, and engage directly with the press via media interviews, on SAP SuccessFactors positioning and product strategy to create favorable mindshare, ensure leader position, and drive favorable media coverage.
Content and Assets to Support End to End Customer Journey
Define and deliver the product marketing plans through and with the corporate and field marketing expert teams, ultimately ensuring that customers, partners, analysts, and press understand and believe in the value of SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
Oversee a team that develops and delivers the messaging, content and assets to support digital demand gen strategies, including content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising, and events.
Oversee the creation of high-quality product assets, including solution brochures, videos, product trials, sales presentations, customer stories, white papers to be used within integrated demand gen programs and across all stages of the customer journey:awareness & perception, evaluation/trial, and adoption.
Partner with Digital Experience team on the HCM portfolio pages for sap.com, ensuring up to date messaging and continual performance optimization
Create and deliver always-on content for sales/partner and external audiences to keep up the the latest SAP SuccessFactors HCM innovations via blogs and public channels such as .com

What You Bring
7+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise software
Domain knowledge of or experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Cloud
Experience with HR/HCM solutions preferred
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Experience in understanding complex topics and crafting clear, concise value propositions, messaging frameworks, presentations, and other communications
Strong understanding of technology trends and industry developments.
A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of marketing.
