Responsibilities for SOX Compliance manager
• Manage and own the SOX project plan, ensuring efficient and timely execution of all stages of the SOX program.
• Improve the design of the processes to help scale the company.
• Collaborate with process owners to update narratives, flowcharts, risk and control matrices as the business grows and processes change.
• Continuously assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls over financial reporting, identifying gaps and remediating deficiencies as well as identifying areas of for improvement while working with business partners to streamline control design and documentation.
• Provide guidance to control owners and business process owners for proper completion/updating of process mapping, narratives and other controls documentation.
• Assist in testing the effectiveness of both SOX and operational controls
• Provide formal and informal training and instructions to Solidigm team members to enhance acumen on SOX and overall risk management
• Assist in developing and maintaining corporate accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with US GAAP

• The position requires broad training in fields such as accounting and/or information technology obtained through the completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program, with a preferred concentration in accounting or accounting information systems.
• Industry experience and big 4 consulting firm’s external audit experience are required.
• First year of SOX implementation experience and manufacturing SOX experience.
• CPA or master’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Normally requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in general accounting, public accounting and/or internal auditing, including experience with assessing controls within accounting information systems.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls (financial and system controls), SOX, COSO 2013 and US GAAP.
• Demonstrated experience in organizing, planning and executing medium to large-scale projects from vision through implementation.
