Participating in network projects in the areas of network sustaining engineering, network deployment/implementation, network scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and/or network optimizationAnalysing the network using tools and metrics to ensure it is operating correctly, safely and securely
Investigating and solves straightforward technical problems, assists in fixing them so they don't come backDelivering simple, straightforward, repeatable solutions and processes
Learning new and upcoming networking systems and developing ways of safely implementing them into our environment

Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, load balancers, firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IP address management.
Knowledge & experience of Linux or other Unix operating systems
Knowledge of different networking hardware and their role
Basic scripting/programming with one or more of Python (preferred), Perl, Ruby, Shell, Java, etc.
