Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the BAU of the centralized activities
  • Trusted partner to the EMEA local LEM teams and wider finance functions
  • Manage complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas
  • Communicate with peers within the firm
  • Deliver the pre-defined range of services to the EMEA region
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within Finance and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the Finance department
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors’ degree from Finance
  • Chartered Accountant, ACCA or equivalent preferred
  • Qualification with more than 4 years of experience

Financial Controller with extensive knowledge and understanding of Legal management activities.

Experience with managing offshored activities and liaising with internal stakeholders and auditors

Minimum of 2 years experience in Finance/ Audit

  • Excellent communication skills with professional and

diplomatic approach to reengineering, project management and change management

  • Excellent teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work independently as appropriate
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, able to coordinate and manage across multiple deliverables and stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills and high level of attention to

detail

  • Ability to engage subject matter experts (internal and

external) to address and resolve issues

  • Excellent English language
