The role involves value tracking, stakeholder engagement, and tooling support. The Financial Analyst will help define principles, track benefits, manage costs, liaise with FP&A and accounting, and support tooling implementation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Value tracking
- Help define principles and definitions to govern target setting and tracking.
- Develop a deep understanding of all benefits, including benefits calculation methodology and how this relates to budget and forecasting.
- Track benefits against targets at an aggregate level supporting business controllers in their engagements with the department owners.
- Track investments at program and initiative level.
- Manage program costs
Stakeholder engagement:
- Liaise with FP&A and Accounting on implementing the realised costs/savings into the regular financial planning and reporting cycle.
- Act as a point of contact regarding the content and methodology of set targets for FP&A and Workstream leads
Tooling
- Support implementation of tooling and onboarding, training and support of stakeholders utilizing the tool.
- Validate input for reporting on the Program savings and investments.
- Create relevant reporting to ensure timely and accurate reporting of data against approved metrics.
Requirements of special knowledge/skills
- Minimum 3+ years experience as a project analyst.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify connections in data and trends.
- Knowledge of Accounting concepts.
- Ability to quickly get familiar with new tooling
- Organized, proactive, independent and results oriented.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); ability to convey complex analysis results clearly to all stakeholders.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in using Google Sheets & Slides is preferable
