Global Compliance Assistant Director

Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

Travel will be required on occasion for one-to-one and team meetings.

Your key responsibilities

  • Leadership and Strategy: Support GC leadership in the implementation of compliance initiatives, collaborating with senior executives across Member Firms, Functions and Service Lines to mitigate operational risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to enhance compliance testing and evolution of compliance priorities. This will include driving conversations with the Global teams to identify areas for control improvements and/or opportunities to enhance business controls
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for identified compliance initiatives, engaging with stakeholders risk and business Leaders to align on goals and strategies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze data to produce management reports and maintain guidance materials related to compliance and risk management.
  • Technology and automation: Review and enhance as necessary existing technology and continue to enhance and evolve it to support the compliance initiatives and data management, including leading technology initiatives
  • Communications: Work closely with the GDS team to review and continuously enhance communication platforms to the business and review communication templates, both within the team and for the stakeholders
  • Operations: Work closely to create efficienices in processes and demonstrate initiate in seeking solutions

Skills and attributes for success

  • 5-8 years of proven experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or similar field, preferably within a professional services environment and relevant certifications.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent business writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across the business and develop a deep understanding of operational needs.
  • Professional curiosity and adaptability to navigate a dynamic complioance landscape.
  • Knowledge of local and global regulatory frameworks impacting compliance.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as PowerBI or similar reporting platforms.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional and cross-border programs.
