

HR Operations & Administration:
Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in our HRIS system (Workday).
Handle all HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, confirmation letters, experience letters, and policy acknowledgments.
Employee Relations:
Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Deliver employee relations training to leaders.
Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian labor laws and regulations (e.g., Shops and Establishment Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, POSH).
Assist in adapting and implementing global HR policies to the local context, ensuring they are well-understood and consistently applied.
Maintain statutory records and support internal and external audits.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
Drive and support local employee engagement initiatives, events, and wellness programs.
What You Will Bring
5+ years of experience in an HR Manager role , preferably within a multinational technology, e-commerce, or shared services environment in India.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore, India, and work onsite at least 3 days a week.
Strong working knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and build strong relationships based on trust.
Proficiency in Google collaboration tools and experience with HRIS platforms (specifically Workday).
High level of emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong coaching, mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
3+ years of experience in leading a team of HR professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM) in Human Resources.
Direct experience working in a Global Capability Center (GCC)
Experience supporting a rapidly scaling organization.
SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant HR certification is a plus.
