Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy ABAP solutions within SAP BTP.
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet business requirements.
Collaborate with functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and expertise in ABAP programming and SAP BTP.
Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP features, tools, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP development and SAP BTP.
Project Management:
Plan, execute, and monitor development projects to ensure timely delivery.
Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development guidelines.
Perform unit testing and support integration testing efforts.
To qualify for the role you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in ABAP development.
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.
Experience working in professional services/consulting environment
Proven experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Proficiency in ABAP programming and development tools.
Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, including SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Fiori.
Experience with integration technologies such as OData, REST, and SOAP.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ideally, you'll also have:
SAP certification in ABAP or SAP BTP.
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of other SAP modules and technologies.
