The position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure our company's adherence to all relevant industry regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive regulations and the ability to interpret and implement compliance requirements.
How your job will look like?
- Stay up to date with evolving global regulatory requirements and industry standards, ensuring compliance across all relevant areas.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and development groups to conduct thorough risk-assessments, identify potential compliance risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures, to ensure requirements are integrated into product design and development processes.
- Lead the integration and administration of enterprise software applications to automate analysis and monitoring of materials compliance regulations, responsible sourcing and supply-chain transparency requirements.
- Manage the producing of required compliance documentation and reporting.
- Train staff on compliance requirements and best practices
All you need is:
- BA degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of experience in Product regulatory compliance, preferably in the automotive industry
- In-depth knowledge of applicable industry regulations – Electronics, Semi-Conductor, Automotive etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly build strong credibility with global business partners
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines
- Certification in compliance or automotive quality standards (e.g., VDA 6.3, IATF 16949) is a plus
- Attention to details
- Risk assessment and management skills, regulatory research and analysis experience
