Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilising knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (e.g. device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. Covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems.

• A strong individual contributor with 15+ years of testing experience in EMS/NMS or OSS.
• Experience in defining test strategy, writing exhaustive test plans and automating test cases
• Very good knowledge in RHEL [or unix based] operating systems with an ability to write scripts
• Knowledge and work experience on containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud native architecture, cloud security
• Good domain knowledge in OTN, DWDM, SDH/SONET, Ethernet & GMPLS transport protocols.
• Conduct tests, analyse and diagnose results and report bugs.
• Database: Experience on Oracle or equivalent database systems
• Knowledge on Hadoop File System [HDFS], Pinot, PostGres sql, Spark and Hive QL
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Graduate of Post graduate in Engineering stream
• Previous experience in telecommunications network and system verification
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and also work effectively within a team
• Programming skills (Python, Java, SQL)
• Technologies: DWDM, CWDM, SONET, OTN, Ethernet, IP, GMPLS
• Software Tools: Jenkins, Ansible, MS Office
• Testing of WEB based applications, Testing of Client Server applications
• Use of Jira or equivalent tools
