Responsibilities and Expectations
- Procure-to-Pay: Be responsible for all aspects of the procurement process as it relates to the software spend category
 - Procurement Liaison: Assist employees across the company in understanding the procurement process and policy
 - Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate purchasing agreements with optimal pricing and commercial terms
 - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with end users, legal team, senior leadership, and suppliers to define requirements and strategize on contract negotiations
 - Reporting: Track and report on procurement metrics to inform decision-making, including spend, savings, and contract performance
 - Time Management: Manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
 - Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to the company and vendor relationships including invoice discrepancies
 
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field
 - 1-3 years of indirect procurement experience
 - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
 - Strong cost analysis and negotiation skills
 - Must be able to think critically to identify and solve problems
 - Must possess sound judgment and meet ethical obligations to perform purchasing duties on behalf of the company
 - Ability to prepare clear and concise specifications and other documentation
 - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel – Oracle Cloud & ServiceNow a plus
 - Preferred understanding of procuring software and software licensing models
