- Knowledge and practical experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript and client-side Javascript frameworks
- Understanding of WCAG 2.x guidelines and WAI-ARIA
- Experience of implementing accessibility testing methodologies
- Strong first-hand experience in testing with assistive technologies (including screen readers such as VoiceOver, JAWS and NVDA)
- Experience writing accessible code solutions using web technologies
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering in the field of web accessibility
- Aptitude for independently learning new technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in building strong working relationships with others
- Ability to work on multiple projects and manage a dynamic working environment
