In this role, you will:

• Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
• Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
• Lead or participate on large cross group projects
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

• Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a graduate of a B.A./B.S. course in college (preferably in Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Sciences)
• 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling using SAS & SQL
• Experience on data analysis, reports and has programming skills in SAS and SQL
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective leadership ability to drive successful execution of strategic plans; ability to plan, prioritize and set goals
• Analytical and must possess strong collaborative skills
• Preferably with experience and background in banking and/or financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Job Expectations:

• Incumbent will be working on-site
• Incumbent will be working with different stakeholders to understand business needs and specific risks to be managed to deliver the appropriate monitoring solution within agreed timeline
• Incumbent should be able to understand business processes and relevant business rules and translate them to SAS codes to create the monitoring solution
• Incumbent should be able to understand database concepts to effectively identify data sources and extract needed data from said sources
• Incumbent must be able to use different statistical methods to create metrics that will be used for monitoring specific risk events
• Incumbent must be able to translate and communicate technical terms and concepts to non-technical audience
• Incumbent must be able to present the results of his/her work to various forums
• The incumbent is expected to provide quality resolutions to issues in a timely manner
• The incumbent is expected to foster a safe working environment for everyone
