Key job responsibilities
As a part of this role, you will:- Participate in and Influence cross org technology decisions.- Lead and develop a complex distributed software development organization.- Hire, mentor, coach and develop the necessary skills in your organization.
- Own product operations, including maintenance, upgrades, modernization, and deprecation of software.
- Define software development processes, conduct reviews, and report progress.

- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field

- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
