What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and test features for Image Builder that solve user and customer problems

• Help maintain and operate the Image Builder service

• Communicate with peer engineers within your team and Red Hat, as well as in relevant Open Source communities

• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering, Support, Product Management, User Experience, and Documentation teams

What You Will Bring

• Experience developing software professionally

• Knowledge and curiosity about how Linux operating systems are assembled and used in various environments

• Strong problem solving skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work effectively in a remote team

The following are considered a plus

• Experience with developing and running a service at scale is a strong plus (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc…)

• Go, Typescript, and React experience would be a plus
