As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers
- Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate
- Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customers' needs.
- Leading technical sales activities such as technical demos and proof of concepts (POCs).
- Managing technical stakeholders internally and externally, moving fast in complex environments of major Swiss corporations.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience working in customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post-sales roles with fluency in German and English.
- Be a customer advocate, passionate about delivering technical solutions. Demonstrating experience presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment.
- Have a great familiarity with internet security solutions in public and hybrid cloud environments.
- Have a solid understanding of the Akamai Cloud Platform.
