How will you make an impact?
- Act as the Engineering contact for product build, deployment, and release inquiries.
- Serve as the 'gatekeeper' of production, actively managing the work backlog, and developing deployment and reliability improvements.
- Lead investigations into root cause outages, performance, and cost issues.
- Drive initiatives to automate low-value tasks while balancing project delivery demands.
- Provide technical leadership to wider Cloud Operations and Support teams and oversee the products and services they support.
- Automate deployment and release mechanisms.
- Collaborate with R&D and Cloud Ops teams to ensure seamless product delivery to customer environments.
Have you got what it takes?
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4–7 years of strong hands-on experience in DevOps.
- Experience with infrastructure/configuration as code (e.g., BICEP, ARM).
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Azure DevOps GIT.
- Significant experience with Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS services.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps pipelines is essential.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
- Familiarity with continuous deployment and delivery practices.
- Experience deploying in multi-tenant environments.
- Proven problem-solving skills through automation.
- Familiarity with rollback, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of databases and data handling (e.g., MS-SQL, Elasticsearch, YML, JSON, XML).
- Demonstrable experience supporting live cloud services and platforms.
- Proficiency in specifying and implementing testing and production environment infrastructure.
- Expertise with automated testing products and practices.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience in programming or advanced scripting (e.g., C#, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of secure coding and security awareness.
- Experience working with R&D delivery teams.
- Experience in a Product company developing enterprise software.
- Cross-platform experience with the ability to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management aspects.
