Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modelling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management. The objective of our advisory risk services is to provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. Our solutions can be used by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, the overall market and when required by regulation or contract. You will be responsible for executing client related engagements in the areas of governance, risk & compliance (GRC), internal audits, process reviews, standard operating procedures, enterprise risk management, revenue assurance, IFC, Clause 49 assistance.
Technical Excellence
- Full review of client profiles in the KYC system for individual and institutional (entity) Wealth Management clients and provides regular, meaningful, and accurate periodic updates.
- Expertly reviews documentation to confirm CIP and assess KYC information including source of wealth, source of funds, etc.
- Utilizes AML background coupled with client documentation as well as information available in the public domain to evaluate content of client profile created by front office partners including nature of business, etc.
- Understanding of the US Beneficial Ownership Rule to identify ultimate beneficial owner(s) and control person and ensures accuracy of information within client profiles.
- Works with his/her line management and other colleagues to ensure that the meets the required audit, risk and compliance standards as determined, from time to time, in accordance with advised changes in processes and procedures pursuant to amendments in guidance and best practice.
- Performs Initial due diligence, conducting independent research and initiating Relationship Manager/Front Office outreach.
- Works with colleagues and line management in reviewing such Wealth Management documentation and efficiently highlighting due diligence documentation (if any) requiring update, due to inadequacy or aging by agreed modes of communication, with professionalism of approach and timely escalation of material issues arising.
- Support and train colleagues within the Review team.
- Creates documentation, procedures, escalation channels and governance to remediate identified issues.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Experience of 3-6 years in reviewing Individual and Institutional (entity) client profiles including CDD and EDD.
- Knowledge of trust, deposit, and lending product documentation.
- Familiarity with formation documentation of various legal entity types (Corp, LLC, LP, etc.) as well as documentation applicable to various industry sectors (Funds, NGOs, etc.).
- Knowledgeable regarding PEPs, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, etc.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Documentation analysis and ability to research and understand CIP and KYC requirements to identify exceptions.
- Knowledge of the US AML/KYC regulations and requirements.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications relating to designated areas of responsibility.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of compliance, financial, and operational risks along with performing internal control testing, develop internal audit plans, and provide internal audit services on an outsourcing basis. Assess internal controls and SOX framework in order to mitigate risk and apply it to client situations
- Bring and utilize extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business. Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
- Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to serve clients.
