What Will You Do

• Collaborate with a globally dispersed team on initiatives and developing applications that are used within Global Engineering.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom integration services for platforms such as Red Hat Product Pages, Git, Smartsheet,JIra, SFDC, Workday, Slack, and Google tools.

• Collaborate with other engineers on initiatives to use AI technologies to enhance our current offerings and discover new use cases that can be developed to improve the way global engineering works.

• Implement and manage integrations using REST APIs and other technologies to synchronize data across platforms.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver tools for improved project tracking and reporting.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing technical support to end-users.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.

• Stay current with industry trends and tools, applying them to improve our ecosystem.

What Will You Bring

• Proficiency in Python, and integration tasks. Experience with the Django framework is a plus.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with a major frontend framework, preferably React.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

The following are considered to be a plus

• Experience with full-stack design, architecture, development, and deployment.

• Technical team leadership experience.

• Upstream contributions to open-source projects (a plus, but not required).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Experience with RDBMS and writing raw SQL queries, preferably PostgreSQL
