Embark on a future with an international pharmaceuticals company, contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 12-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program.

• During the 12-week program, you will gain in-depth insights into the Pharmaceutical Analytical Research, Formulation Research and Development in support of new product development process.
• Learn the knowledge and requirements of lab safety, cGMP/cGLP, regulations, quality and compliance in pharmaceutical industry.
• Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily lab activities and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
• Learn the mechanisms and setting up of the major lab instruments/equipment per the SOPs (e.g. HPLC, GC, IC-MS, XRPD, UV, FT-IR, KF, SEM and dissolution apparatus etc.).
• Learn the basic pharmaceutical unit operations like preformulation, blending, compression, coating etc. Hands on experience taking EHS & GMP compliances into consideration.
• Learn and participate analytical method development and validation process.
• Learn and conduct the major lab testing (e.g. Assay, Impurity and dissolution) as per the direction of a supervisor and STM.
• Record and analyze data and compile results.
• Learn the functions and processes of pharmaceutical Clinical R&D, QA and RA

• Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program - Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical/Chemical/Biochemical/Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology or related field in life sciences.
• Knowledge of organic/physical chemistry, Pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Basic knowledge about cGMP / cGLP.
• Highly motivated individual with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Some previous experience in Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
