Support Source to Contract activities on Ariba Sourcing and Contracting platform:

• Including but not limited to establishing Sourcing events, eAuctions and processing of Contract approvals.
• Running RFx events in Ariba Sourcing module to include the setup of the event and relevant activities assigned to the Analyst including but not limited to creation of the event with defined activities, acquiring CDA’s, performing use case scenarios of RFP responses, support high level supplier risk assessments.
• Support the Contract review and approval process which includes quality review of contract components, adherence to the GP Contract Approval and signing process, processing of relevant contract amendments, bid waivers and uploads of legacy contracts.

Process management:

• Safeguard process compliance and advise on optimization of current processes, such as Source-to-Contract process, Product Change Process and Stage Gate Reviews
• Ensure project and process KPIs are maintained in all relevant systems and tools

Cost Excellence support:

• Delivering solid Cost Excellence data such as:
o Should-Cost calculations – to analyze the possible gap between current prices and bottom-up calculation based on what realistic and reasonable prices should be
o Category Fact Packs – comprising of spend, supply market, supplier insights, benchmarks, risks and opportunities per subcategory
o Negotiation Fact Packs – overview of spend, risks, opportunities and negotiation strategy per supplier, including maintenance to ensure “real time” updates
• Identify, communicate and monitor opportunities & risks within ExM & Devices

Contracting Excellence:

• Monitoring overall contract validity, duration, renewal timing (3 years horizon), etc.
• Measuring and reporting of contract coverage and compliance
• Implements necessary “batch” updates e.g. mandatory compliance and EHS clauses, etc.
• Propose and support contracting process and platform improvements

Market and Supplier Analytics Excellence:

• To support Category Leads in applying available data tools/reports to optimize insights and learning
• Coordinate with Procurement Operations colleagues to obtain internal/external benchmark data and market intelligence reports, and translate this into recommendation to the Category Leads
• Supplier evaluation – support annual surveys, update supplier capabilities by technologies, scan market for new “talented” and capable suppliers to be considered as future “preferred suppliers”

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, economics, engineering, technology or related field
• 1-2 years of procurement or finance experience is highly preferred
• Good understanding of pharma industry is preferred
• Proven capabilities in sourcing & supplier strategies, cost optimization and/or negotiations is a plus
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, inclusion and diplomacy in all interactions
• Team player and relationship builder with ability to interface with senior management
• Proven skills in prioritizing and multitasking utilizing strong organizational skills. Must possess strong attention to detail and follow up.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with strong financial and business acumen
• Knowledge of SAP, Ariba and MS-Office are all a big advantage
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
