Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process owner for MBT taper, MIT AOI, vacuum packer, drying oven and UV curing process.

• Carrier tape assignment for new products.

• Create test and tape rework flow for PQR and RMA purging/disposition purposes.

• Post-place and after-seal inspections improvement activities.

• Responsible to provide engineering support and technical know-how to production.

• Responsible for the certification of the operators/technicians on the process.

• Responsible to provide technical solutions to technical problems relating to material or process. This involves working with the material supplier (indirect material) in situations of quality crisis.

• Responsible for the up keeping of the documents (Work Instructions, Control Plan, FMEA & Process Control).

• Responsible to maintain/improve the process yield.

• Responsible to analyze the process data and identify improvement actions and work on the improvement.

• Responsible to support the investigations for customer return and implement corrective/preventive measures.

• Responsible to prepare the line for internal & external audits and the follow-up actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Material / Electrical / Electronic / Manufacturing Engineering.

• Experience working in a high-volume and high product mix manufacturing environment.

• Dynamic, resourceful, self-motivated and have strong communication / interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of SPC tools, DOE, FMEA, MSA, etc.
