As a Sr. Data Engineer in the team, you will:
- create data strategy and architecture to incrementally build data products- design and implement AI-based data solutions- cooperate with different groups of stakeholders, e.g. engineers, scientists, product/program managers, leadership, etc. to properly evaluate any requirements or dependencies and recommend optimal solutions to the problems
- A Data Cataloguing application
- A Data Quality Framework with related Services
- A Manual Data Ingestion Management Framework
- An ETL Self-Serve Framework for tech (and non-tech) users to easily set up data pipelines to feed applications and analytics/reporting

- 6+ years of data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence or business analytics experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience mentoring team members on best practices
- Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing data sets from multiple sources
- Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
- Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions and data engineering strategy
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers for best practices on data engineering

- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
- Experience operating large data warehouses
