As a Loss Mitigation Specialist in our Collections Team, you will collect on past due accounts and communicate effectively with customers in a metrics-driven environment. You will navigate multiple technologies while staying engaged with customers, demonstrating excellent negotiation and decision-making skills. Your strong customer focus and ability to have detailed conversations will be key to your success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect on past due accounts while maintaining a focus on business results.
  • Communicate comfortably with customers in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Navigate multiple technologies while staying engaged with customers.
  • Possess excellent negotiation and decision-making skills, along with strong communication abilities.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus, treating customers with respect and responding with empathy.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and compassion in difficult situations.
  • Exhibit personal excellence, including punctuality, integrity, and accountability.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, thinking critically and exercising independent judgment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Willingness to work in an environment that requires 100% phone-based customer interaction.
  • Minimum of two years of customer interaction

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Auto and collections experience preferred.
  • Previous negotiation skills are strongly preferred.
  • support experience, either by phone or face-to-face, is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions, including mouse and keyboard usage, launching applications, conducting searches on the Internet, and maneuvering in a Windows-based environment, is strongly preferred.
