And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.As a Network Technician, you will collaborate closely with our internal teams and external vendors to manage and deliver network scaling as and data center build projects in the cluster. You will be an ideal candidate if you are autonomous, detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills as well as being competent in all aspects of project management and troubleshooting of networking hardware, software and fiber connectivity. The desire and ability to work in an ambiguous, collaborative environment is essential for success.Key job responsibilities- Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Prepare and create cable documentation, and review cable tray and trunking pathway design
- Troubleshooting physical cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords using testing equipment
- Specifying Space Power, Cooling requirements for new network racks and devices
- Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
- Comply with change management policies and AWS cabling standards
- Conduct quality assurance activities
- Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Adhere to safety and security standards for all tasks
- Provide training and knowledge sharing with new technicians
A day in the life

- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
- Strong experience working with network infrastructure deployments in data center
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors on large projects.

- 5+ years data center experience
- 3+ years experience managing network projects and external vendors
- Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters
- Proven expertise in project management, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk, with a strong ability to meet tight deadlines.
