Job responsibilities

• xecutes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reports from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Works in an Agile development environment with other team members, including Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and other Software Engineers.
• Follows clean coding principles and test-driven development.
• Builds reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimizes applications for quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Conducts thorough testing of user interfaces on multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly.
• Collaborates and incorporates non-functional requirements, including telemetry, monitoring, alerting, and logging, into software solutions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages, such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of front-end coding and development technologies.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Expert knowledge of React.js, Redux, and React Hooks.
• Proficiency in using Git for source control.
• Practice of clean code principles and test-driven development (TDD).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Familiarity with Electron & AngularJS
• Full stack development with Node/.NET/Java
• Familiarity with working in event driven environments
• A good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and their solution
