You will build highly scalable systems to compute cost of transportation for every item shipped by Amazon. These systems are the authority for ship cost computation in Amazon. You will work with economists to find right model and cost driver to build solutions and algorithms to allocate costs.We have a large product and tech roadmap and are significantly ramping our tech team to meet the next level of product requirements for Trans Finance.

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
- Strong object oriented development knowledge in Java.
- Demonstrates skill and passion for operational excellence.
- Documentation skills

- Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
- Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
