Your key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced automation frameworks tailored to our applications, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Leads and assists with the development of automation technical roadmaps, implementation plans, and establishes the validity of technical solutions and its components with both short- and long-term implications across all sites working with site partners
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence in automation practices.
- Champion best practices, ensuring that quality is embedded at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
- Be a thought leader with customers and partners on the technical fundamentals of our solutions
- Understand the solutions sales cycle and what technical demos will enhance customer education on key solution capabilities
- Manage and lead workshops to gather user requirements and functionalities.
- Collaborates with regional/global automation, engineering, and partner engineering organizations to develop technical collaterals that map site business requirements including creating solution architectures, standards, whitepapers, deployment guides, and best practices from a standardized technology portfolio
- Create sales friendly self-service automated demo environment for all customer facing demos
- Works collaboratively with automation and engineering teams during the technical development, launch and continuing refinement of automation solutions
- Applies advanced subject matter knowledge and is regarded as a technical subject matter expert for automation
- Acts as advisor to senior management and/or site partners on advanced technical applications or solutions
- Maintains a technology portfolio of automation assets at all business units and develop an accurate understanding of automation technical assets globally
Skills and attributes for success
- Good communication skills, PM skills, Customer management skills and good AI and IT automation
- Strong understanding of SDLC process and methodology, Agile, Waterfall experience as a developer and a team lead.
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills.
- Comfortable understanding, explaining, exploring 3rd party APIs for integration/consumption. experience with full software lifecycle development including source control, iterative development, and rapid prototyping.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a knack for troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.
- Strong knowledge on Full Stack development using Core java, python.
- Strong command of Java for developing robust automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience in AI & ML.
- Proven experience in API testing methodologies and tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analysis capability and ability to implement process definition, introduction and improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with the ability to discuss technical information to non-technical staff
