Your key responsibilities
- Define and execute the Digital Competency development strategy across the organization.
- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team focused on digital technologies and solutions.
- Identify skill gaps, design training programs, and oversee certification initiatives to build a strong digital expertise base.
- Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Solutioning teams to ensure digital capabilities align with client demand and strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key technology providers (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud) to leverage their programs, tools, and co-sell opportunities.
- Create roadmaps for capability building around cloud, data analytics, AI, business applications, and emerging technologies.
- Monitor and report on progress toward competency targets, certifications, and business impact.
- Support the design and launch of new digital-based services and solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence within the organization.
- Act as an internal advocate and subject matter expert for digital technologies.
- Manage team performance, career development, and engagement through regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Minimum 13+ years of experience in the IT consulting industry, with a strong focus on digital transformation and technologies.
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, cloud ecosystems, data analytics, AI, and business solutions.
- Proven experience in competency development, technical enablement, or practice management.
- Strong leadership skills with at least 10+ years of experience managing technical or consulting teams.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong technical experience, ideally in software development and/or architecture areas
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, digital solutions, or project management are highly desirable.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence at all organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Commitment to support the development of others through taking on coaching and counselling roles for team members
- Ability to think strategically, but also identify, develop and implement practical solutions
- Ability to network effectively within large organizations and build relationships with colleagues and clients
- Ability to lead new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements and responding to tenders
