What you need to know about the role-As an engineer in Global Fraud Risk - Automation team, You will work closely with data scientists, engineering, and analytical teams, understand the requirements and drive full development lifecycle of the teams’ products, transforming research work to real products. We are looking for strong technologists who are passionate about technology and able to continuously deliver state of the art software solutions in scalable way.

Your day to day

In your day-to-day role you will:

• Design, develop and maintain software development products and platforms, integrate machine learning algorithms into E2E automation pipeline, build up AI applications and UI portal. Theplatform/infrastructure
• Guarantee product and code quality by establishing best practices like code review, automatic testing, CI/CD.
• Develop tools which could be used to reduce human efforts and improve efficiency
• Collaborate efficiently with software engineers, data scientists and engineering teams across the globe to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain teams’ products.
• Participate in the formulations and implementation of departmental processes, procedures, policies and standards.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results on matters of significance to the business.
• Look for improvement and innovation opportunities with business impact. Provide a source of high-quality ideas.

What do you need to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or engineering field with 7+ year professional work experience in a relevant field. Or Master’s degree with 5+ year profession experience or equivalent knowledge.

• Backend development experience with hands-on expertise in Python.
• Extensive experience in architecting and developing large-scale backend systems using Python, with strong expertise in algorithm design and database development.
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills – ability to triage and resolve critical tech issues without supervision.
• Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development
• Proven experience in employingengineering/analyticssolutions on real world problems.
• Ability to work independently and proficiently on well-defined projects; Focuses primarily on how to achieve overall business objectives of a project with speed and quality
• Effective inter-personal skills. Manage relationship with key partners across different functions. Able to collaborate with remote teams effectively.
• Skilled in Presenting – can effectively communicate in large or small group settings.
• Preferred qualifications:
• xperience in big data technology such as Big Query.
• Knowledge on Machine Learning application pipeline.
• Data science skills in python.
• Industry experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services.
