Lemonade FPA Actuarial Manager Solvency II

In this role, will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial forecast models, managing and optimizing capital under Solvency II regulations, and ensuring compliance with Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRT) requirements.

You’ll play a major role in daily financial operations to help us scale and make strategic decisions while gaining unique exposure to all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning and analysis within the insurance industry and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial forecast insurance models,. analyze financial performance, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

• Optimize capital management strategies under Solvency II regulations.

• Collaborate with global FP&A and ensure EU business is connected to and integrated with broader capital planning.

• Prepare QRT reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with regulatory bodies to stay updated on reporting requirements.

• Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives.

• Communicate financial performance and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  

• Experience with Solvency II regulations, capital management, and QRT reporting is a must

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in modeling, business & financial planning, and analysis within the insurance industry.

• Direct-to-consumer P&C business experience, a plus

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to senior management and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English is required

• Ability to work in an office 3 days a week
