Microsoft Senior Manager Creative Agency Management

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years experience in media, marketing, or advertising on the client or agency side.
  • 8+ years experience working across offline paid media channels (e.g., broadcast TV, cinema, print, audio, out of home [OOH]).
  • 8+ years experience working across digital media channels (e.g., pay-per-lead, social, SEM, programmatic buying, addressable TV).
  • 8+ years experience managing projects (e.g., communications, internal stakeholder management timelines, prioritization, road mapping).
  • 8+ years experience paid social experience (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube).
  • Experience managing global relationships. Client-side experience in advertising management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and negotiate agency contracts effectively.

Strategic Agency Management alignment:
  • Utilizes direction and strategy from stakeholder leadership to build and maintain a high-performing creative agency roster driven by stakeholder needs with our B2B audience, fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring adaptability to market trends and emerging technologies, including advancements in social-first creative approaches. Leads the definition of the vision and strategy for change, broad and specific impact, and the flow of communication and interaction with the organization to drive change management processes.
  • Provides insight to collect and evaluates success criteria and performance metrics and uses scorecards and dashboards to monitor creative agency health across our portfolio. Understands angecy engagements and derives insights and training that help identify current and future program risks and mitigation plans and opportunities to streamline and optimize agency relationships based on lessons learned via wins and challenges.
Operational Excellence and Execution
  • Evaluates and enhances agency operational touchpoints, integrating data-driven insights into business scorecards and performance metrics to deliver measurable impact. Evangelizes successful outcomes across stakeholder organziation with leadership buy in.
  • Shares best practices across commercial stakeholder and Agency portfolio tp ensure socialization of policies, processes, and ways of working to ensure effecitve and timely outcomes.
Industry and Cross agency strategy and collaboration
  • Develops and implementsstrategies to optimize advertising relationships across Microsoft, with a focus on enhancing creative impact across all channels, especially social and digital platforms.
  • Stays informed on industry shifts and emerging technologies in the creative agency landscape to recommend forward-thinking engagement and commercial models, particularly in the context of social creative innovations, use of AI on tools & platforms and production
Agency Relationship management
  • Oversees agency health assessments, collaborative check-ins, and training programs to ensure compliance and foster growth, innovation, and productive relationships.
