As a Digital Marketing Project Manager at BMC, you will oversee the day-to-day project management activities, provide guidance on project management policies and processes, and collaborate with other department leaders to develop projects and programs. You will be a key contributor to evolving the BMC brand vision and accelerating our reputation as a premier provider of modern, relevant technology solutions.
Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
  • Facilitate department planning and integration with cross-functional planning, including project kick-offs, discovery meetings, stakeholder reviews, meeting agendas and notes, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, marketing, and creative team to scope projects, define processes and milestones, and ensure projects are on track to the required release date.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, files, standards, and templates.
  • Communicate priorities, track progress. and coordinate across functions to ensure project milestones are completed on time.
  • Prepare presentation decks and slides as required.
  • Help define project scope, shape consistent work paths, and bring clarity to evolving processes.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or have 5+ years of experience managing web projects, preferably within an agency environment. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly preferred.
  • You have a proven track record for planning, executing, and closing web projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • You have managed the complete lifecycle of a web project with cross-functional teams of 5 to 25 people using AGILE and Lean methodologies.
  • You have strong skills in creating and maintaining web project and program plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies and are highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment.
  • Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning.
  • You are able to operate at both the strategic level, an operational level, and are willing to roll up your sleeves as needed.
  • You are diplomatic in your approach to influence others at multiple levels of the business and competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions.
  • You are a collaborative people person who values strong relationships with your employees, peers, and management.
  • You are proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager a plus.
