Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for leading and/or participating in teams comprised of BMC, partner and customer resources at client sites to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC clients.
  • Provide L2/L3 operational support on BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM), TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM), as per agreed SLAs
  • Maintain BHOM / TSOM Application platform availability as per agreed availability commitment.
  • Administer and maintain BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM), TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM) Solution. Ensure the platforms are running efficiently, with optimal performance and availability.
  • Configure and customize BMC Helix Operations Management or TrueSight Operations Management solutions to align with client requirements. Adjust system settings and features to meet operational needs.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and health metrics. Identify and address performance issues, bottlenecks, and anomalies to ensure reliable and effective operations.
  • Monitor and analyse end point events and performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to clients on event monitoring planning.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to BHOM/TSOM applications. Provide technical support to address complex problems and ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and capacity metrics. Identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Implement corrective actions to maintain system stability and performance.
  • Oversee the integration of BMC solutions with other systems and third-party applications. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.
  • Implement minor upgrade, patches, and new features for BMC solutions, ensuring updates are deployed with minimal impact on ongoing operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, troubleshooting steps, and resolution procedures. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on BMC solutions. Share best practices and help clients maximize the value of their capacity management tools.
  • Adhere to industry best practices and standards, including ITIL, for capacity management and system administration. Ensure compliance with internal policies and client agreements.
  • Assist customer drive adoption of the monitoring solution across the environments
  • Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement.

Skills/Experience:

  • You must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Should have 6-9 years of IT experience.
  • Should have worked in Applications Managed Services and Consulting Services environment
  • Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of BMC BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) /TSOM Application Support, Administration, Integrations and, Customizations
  • Excellent in troubleshooting BHOM/ TSOM applications, integrations, customizations.
  • Extensive experience maintaining BHOM /TSOM within a high distributed complex environment.
  • Excellent organization and communication (both written and oral) skills
  • Able to work both autonomously and in teams
  • Self-starter and good decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to fault resolution
  • Experience on Windows/UNIX/LINUX operating systems and ITIL framework is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Cloud Technologies, networking, and database concepts
  • Well Organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer facing env & should be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
  • Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.
