As a Partner Solution Sales Intern, you will deliver the Microsoft Commercial Cloud Solution Area customer promise and value via a group of managed partners aligned to a specific solution area. Under supervision, you will achieve revenue and market share goals for their solution area through these partners. You will create joint solution-focused sales plans together with partners and Microsoft sales teams. You will be part of a team that coaches partners on solution area value proposition and help them to accelerate their sales practice. Owns solution area pipeline and forecast to achieve quarterly revenue targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Must have at least one additional semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
  • You must be legally authorised to work in Germany to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
  • Fluency in English.

  • Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling.
  • Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in German.

Type of Employment: Student Worker

  • Learns about and assists more experienced peers in the creation of joint solution area sales plans in partnership with prioritized partners in the solution area portfolio relevant to customer segment to address customer needs and drive quarterly revenue accountability.
  • Assists more experienced peers with identifying, understanding, and evaluating partners' cloud solution area sales practice(s) as assigned.
  • Learns about driving the acceleration of cloud solution area sales practice with partners. Learns to address performance issues with partner supported by peers/manager to ensure delivery of cloud solution area partner targets and assists peers in their collaboration with segment sales teams to ensure co-sell performance with partners.
  • Begins to work with solution area-aligned prioritized partners to identify new customer opportunities with support from peers/manager and contributes to driving the qualified partner pipeline and progressing it through the sales cycle with support from peers/manager.
  • Begins to initiate solution area sales planning with assigned partners and supports targets. Participates in a predictable sales pipeline rhythm of business (RoB) with assigned solution area partners as instructed.
