In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
Job Description:
- Timely completion of designs, requisitions, and engineering deliverables.
- Adherence to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems.
- Overview of work progress and work-hour usage.
- Working within company budgets
- Meet client expectations and maintain long-term relationship with client. Attend to client’s feedback and any complaints.
- Review technical requirements of client’s specifications and ensure that agreement is reached on the basis of design. Participate in discussions with the client, as necessary.
- Investigate, analyze, and implement systems, and methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- These investigations include:
- Computer aided design
- Routine calculations by use of computer
- Monitoring latest developments and latest techniques in his area of functioning
- Monitor that work and progress are in compliance with the project requirements and schedule.
Note - Data Center Projects Experience is Mandatory
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering in Civil with 15+ years of experience in Civil Department of a consultancy organization ortechnical services department of a Food / Pharmaceuticals / Chemical plant. / Data Center Projects
- Data Centre projects hyper scale and retail scale.
- Knowledge of software packages like STAAD-PRO is essential. Knowledge of review software like SPR, or Navisworks is desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of Indian Codes and specifications required. Additional knowledge of international codes ASCE, AISC, ACI is must. Knowledge of other international code like BS, IBC & EURO etc. is desirable.
- Requires minimum experience in designing new & existing structures and foundations commonly found in chemical, fertilizer, petrochemical and other industrialfacilities.
- Knowledge of engineering designing and solving unique structural problems using finite element modeling is desirable and solving unique structural problems using finite element modeling, model analysis, bucking analysis, time history analysis and numerical analysis. Must have experience in preparing a specifications and review of tender documents.
