Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, features, and functionality.
    • Determine technology readiness and determine development roadmaps.
  2. Product Development and Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring product design, specifications, and development meet the highest standards.
    • Oversee and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing, to drive seamless product development and delivery.
    • Partner directly with engineering teams, and use engineering first principles to inform risks, timelines and product plans.
  3. Project Management:
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for product development initiatives.
    • Monitor project progress and coordinate with various teams to ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
    • Address any roadblocks or challenges that may arise during product development and propose effective solutions.
  4. Market Launch and Distribution:
    • Collaborate with marketing and go-to-market teams to develop launch strategies for new products.
    • Identify and establish critical relationships with contract manufacturing partners to realize new products for mass production.
    • Coordinate with internal distribution, sales platforms and online storefront resources to ensure products are efficiently delivered to customers.
  5. Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Take ownership of the product lifecycle, from inception through production, release, and eventual end-of-life planning.
    • Identify opportunities for product improvements, upgrades, and modifications to enhance customer satisfaction and meet market demands.
    • Manage product-related risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
