What this role involves:

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. Additional responsibilitis include

• Working independently with little supervision.

• Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.

• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.

• Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.

• Exercising substantial creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Prioritizes troubleshooting issues, and consults with subject matter experts to troubleshoot complex production-related bugs.

• Participates in project review sessions to communicate project status and discuss complex issues.

• Creates and reviews functional and/or system specifications that meet business user requirements, often for multiple large scale projects.

• Leads collaboration with more junior and senior Systems Analysts and business partners to document and present recommendations for improvements to existing and new applications and systems.

• Manages designated work unit by translating business plans into tactical action items, ensuring all guidelines are followed, delegating tasks to meet goals and objectives, and overseeing the completion of work assignments.

• Helps team members to determine which work tasks are most important, manages distractions, and deals with setbacks in a timely manner.

4+ years IT-relevant work experience as TM1 developer using PAW/PAX.

Good understanding of the SQL and writing complex queries.

Having understanding of Python/TM1Py is the added advantage.

Skills/Experience Required:

Must Have

• 4+ years IT-relevant work experience as TM1/Planning Analytics developer.

• Proficient with Tm1Web, PAW and PaX.

• Good understanding of the SQL and writing complex SQL queries.

• Having understanding of Python/TM1Py is an added advantage.

• Bachelors or master’s degree in information science, computer science, business or equivalent work experience.

• Working experience that involved direct involvement with Finance clientele and users is a must

• Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with prior experience in handling users that use all these modules

• Should be hands on with writing basic SQL to troubleshoot issues on their own

• Positive attitude that is filled with willingness to help and offer solutions to clients. Must be a good team player that can work seamlessly with technical team members

• Should have worked on offering solutions as an independent contributor

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

6+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• 2+ years experience with Database Design structures such as Mongo DB, MySQL.
