You will be exposed to a variety of financial markets around the world, and be expected to execute vanilla contracts to more complex inter exchange/multi-currency transactions, while engaging with our top tier clients.

As an F&O execution sales person within the Future & Options Execution team, you will be providing comprehensive coverage to our clients via responding to various requests, executing orders, ensuring end-to-end processes, providing information on F&O products, along with trade ideas and market insight. You are encouraged to cross pitch with our internal partners and leverage our broader global franchise. We operate with 24/5 global execution coverage model and require strong partnership skills to work with our global peers. Also, partnership with the operations team is a key in servicing and you will be working closely with them. Furthermore, you will be asked not only to identify and understand the risks we run but also to mitigate them proactively and at times, join project and initiatives as SME of the business.

Job responsibilities

• Increase business through providing market insight and value added service to clients
• Provide solutions to clients from trading as well as operational perspective
• Partner with F&O desks in the region and also other business of the firm to create new business opportunities
• Acquire high level of execution skills to differentiate JPM from the competitors
• Build strong risk control mind-set to reduce errors on both trading and post trade administrations
• Build deep understanding of the complex rules set by the exchange and regulators in various regions
• Contribute actively to projects as SME of the product such as new trading platform development, enhancement works for control, regulatory/exchange related enhancements etc.

• Must be fluent in English and Japanese
• Strong understanding of financial markets
• Strong understanding of order execution
• Detail oriented and accuracy in number handling

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and self-manage priorities
• Experience in sales trading or execution
• Understanding of various global exchange rules and local regulatory environment
