Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The purpose is to manage and coordinate the GBS Controlling & Reporting team in Dalian - Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the GBS center according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures and guidelines and according to the Finance Manual for specific area of responsibility; ensure full responsibility for team performance and execution in accordance with defined KPIs and in compliance with SLA; drive for simplification and standardization of processes. support organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure smooth operation of the business by taking on ownership for related actions
• Responsible for HR related processes like Performance Reviews, recruiting, talent management and development.
• Ensure full responsibility for team performance and execution in accordance with defined KPIs and in compliance with SLA.
• Support the team in the discussion with business partners and senior management
• Enable the budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring processes by acting as an expert and contact person (SPOC) for specific planning topics
• Manage & execute standardized reporting and ad hoc analysis
• Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present derived results, recommendations and solutions
• Lead small – medium sized projects, implement findings and ensure sustainability of achievements
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Good knowledge in the use of SAP through proven work experience
• Comprehensive business understanding of processes and structure
• High degree of customer orientation
• Ability to coach, guide, manage, and develop a small-size team
• Ability to maneuver in consistently changing environment
• Ability to operate cross-functionally and understanding of external business drivers
• Thorough understanding of the complexity, interactions and dynamics within an international company
• Experience in Project Management
• Excellent communication skills for influencing others
• Business fluency in both English or Japanese or Korean (written and spoken)
• Ability to think and act strategically and develop operational plans
• Ability to coach, guide, manage, and develop a large-size team
• Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling
• Comprehensive understanding of system landscape.
• Leadership experience
• 7-10 years working experience
