As a member of the Netflix Litigation Consumer Claims team, you will be instrumental to help scale our global workflows and liaise with internal stakeholders to drive cross functional operational improvements. You will also be able to handle consumer claims from multiple jurisdictions. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our global team and work on matters from different regions.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and motivated self-starter with strong judgment skills. Though part of the Legal Team, being an attorney is not a requirement for this role. This position is based in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of enhanced global workflows to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Develop, update, and maintain internal documentation such as policies, playbooks, and legal research summaries.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders like customer service, public policy, marketing, consumer protection, and product counsel to refine strategies and provide actionable business insights.

  • Customize, manage and optimize ticketing systems, including setting up fields, automations, triggers, and integrations with other tools.

  • Manage development and maintenance of new data dashboards for the global team and identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes.

  • Collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of legal compliance programs (e.g., Dawn Raid).

  • Handle all phases of consumer claims, including service coordination, document validation, information indexing, claim investigation, information gathering, and response drafting.

  • Utilize customer service tools and internal resources to meticulously investigate claims to build the strategy to handle the matter.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations for legal or trust and safety.

  • Fluency in English and German is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a good sense of humor.

  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently, and reliably while using impeccable judgment to make decisions, escalate matters when necessary and manage priorities.

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally with teams in different locations

  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail, and a mindset that processes can always be improved.

  • Proficient in drafting, revising, and organizing documents such as responses to legal matters, policies, playbooks, etc.

  • Experience in creating and maintaining metrics and dashboards, with skills in data organization and reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to implement innovative automation solutions, plus strong risk assessment and project management capabilities.
