Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of financial systems, ensuring they function effectively and efficiently. Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with IT for system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Data Integrity: Monitor and maintain data accuracy within financial systems, including system integrations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial systems and workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
  • User Support: Provide support and training to finance team members and other users on financial systems, ensuring they understand functionalities and best practices.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Maintain documentation for system processes, procedures, and user guides.
  • Project Participation: be a focal point in finance-related projects, including system implementations and upgrades, process automation initiatives, and other special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in finance operations, financial systems management, or a related role. Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Pigment, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Familiarity with database management (SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., QlikSence) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with process automation and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
