You will be responsible for thermal concepts within the development of mobile radio base stations. Your range of responsibility starts with thermal evaluation and creation of comprehensive thermal concepts and continues with the selection of relevant parts for our modules and base stations by using new and innovative technologies.

Your future task contains the full spectrum of thermal simulations, from the concept finding phase and calculation by using appropriate simulation tools, the verification by different parameters and appropriate documentation. Another focus of the role lies on support and selection of new generation radial and axial air fan modules and the investigation of new thermal technologies. We will expect you also to analyze and solve thermal issues occurring in production lines or in the field and to document and implement the required design changes according to specifications and processes. The close cooperation with many different project interfaces like mechanical design, printed wiring board development, digital and analog circuit design and external suppliers is essential.

To succeed in this role you ideally should have specialist level competence in thermal simulation tools like Flotherm XT as well as thermal and airflow verification methods and tools. You might also be familiar with specification work and product documentation creation in the thermal area.
