You will be leading the design of the calibration and test flow of manufacturing line prototypes to enable mass-production of novel devices. With a strong technical background in metrology for consumer electronic products, you will:- be responsible for the overall metrology equipment bring-up, upgrade, troubleshooting, maintenance, and test line optimization- Lead the communication with instrument vendors, tester vendors (customized equipment and off-the-shelf tools)- Lead the communication with onsite support technicians for inline and offline test, characterization, and failure analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with prior experience in technical presentations and leadership.
- Bachelor or Master’s with 10+ years of industry leadership experience in Engineering, Optics, Consumer Electronics Manufacturing, Automation, Metrology, and Test.
- Engineering build leadership, ownership for factory calibration/test strategy, and bring-up working with multi-functional internal and external teams.
- Knowledge or experience working with electronics manufacturing lines, data flow control, calibration of component modules, and test requirements.
- Excellent understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems.
- Prior experience with integration of one or more of the following technologies: sensing, imaging, displays, electrical interconnect, and protocols.
- Technical background in physics and engineering, capable of applying creativity, common sense, and technical skills to solve complex problems.
- Be available for some international travel.
- Understands FMEA and FA processes and has past experiences in root-cause investigations and recommendations of metrology design improvements.
- Solid statistics knowledge and experience in data analysis.
- Passionate about new technologies, especially in the area of displays.
- Have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, self-motivate, and work independently.
- Experience developing metrology systems (or its sub-systems), and test methodologies.
- Outstanding problem-solving ability.
