Develop strong relationships with internal groups and functions to achieve strategic business and HR goals
Maintain an open dialogue with internal clients and line managers regarding HR programs, policies and procedures to ensure they satisfy business needs.
Assess overall needs and gaps to coach and advise business unit leaders
Drive the performance management process and utilize the results as a basis for establishing specific, measurable and achievable objectives and development plans
HR Compliance:
Responsible for ensuring compliance required by country-specific law and local governing bodies
Implements the administration of HR policies and procedures within the business unit and ensures compliance with local laws
Strategic HR:
Collaborates and interfaces extensively to obtain input and recommendations regarding strategic HR direction to increase organizational effectiveness
Leads and participates in discussions regarding the implementation of change management strategies with the senior leadership team
Through effective communication, ensures alignment of the business unit talent planning process with strategic initiatives
Acts as an advocate for colleagues and business units to ensure HR services meet or exceed expectations
Leads the implementation of new HR policies and programs within the business unit
Provides unbiased perspectives and solutions after obtaining additional knowledge regarding issues and concerns that have been escalated
HR Data & Technology Management:
Partners with centralized HR functions to leverage HRIS data mining and reporting capabilities
Presents reports to leadership teams regarding key performance indices to support decision making
Problem Solving:
Works on more or unusually complex problems that range broadly in scope; adopts a global perspective
Engages/leads and collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in the process of problem solving
Identifies and recommends solutions and alternatives to resolve problems
Qualifications
BA or BS degree, preferably in a subject related to Business or Human Resource Management
5- 7 years of HR consulting experience across multiple disciplines Proven organizational consulting skills
Demonstrated management development skills
Effectively model and coach senior leaders on use of self as instrument, competence, credibility, sense of relevance/ urgency, etc
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization
Written and oral fluency in English and may be other Asian dialect
Proficiency with Microsoft office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
