Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Linux audio drivers and applications.

• Collaborate with the open-source community to contribute to and improve existing audio projects.

• Optimize audio performance and ensure compatibility across various Linux distributions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex audio-related issues.

• Work closely with hardware and software teams to integrate audio solutions.

• Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and advanced techniques.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Linux audio technologies.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Linux audio development.

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.

• Extensive experience with ALSA, PulseAudio, JACK, and other Linux audio frameworks.

• Proven track record of contributions to open-source projects.

• Deep understanding of audio signal processing and digital audio concepts.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with TinyALSA, ALSA, ASoC topology, and codec drivers.

Linux Kernel Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals.

• Experience with kernel module development and debugging.

• Familiarity with kernel subsystems related to audio.

• Ability to contribute to and maintain kernel patches.

• Understanding of kernel security practices and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with real-time audio processing.

• Familiarity with audio hardware design and integration.

Experience with version control systems like Git

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with real-time audio processing.

• Familiarity with audio hardware design and integration.

Experience with version control systems like Git
