Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Building and operating a multi-vendor network in multiple regions and data centers
Reduce operational work and improve business metrics with an automation-first mindset.
Own the network and operation of several thousands of devices end-to-end with security in mind.
Work with the business and users to define needs, identify problems, evaluating potential solutions, demonstrating, and implementing improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Expert knowledge of networking in routing & switching, TCP/IP stack, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN.
Experience with building and maintaining network automation stacks (preferably in Python) and Unix.
Experience with zero-touch provisioning and automated configuration management.
Experience with monitoring network quality, availability, and performance.
Experience with building and operation of large data center networks.
Experience with building and operation of private cloud network virtualization.
Experience in incident and vendor management.
