As a DBA (Database Administrator) you will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing database systems based on user requirements.
- Ensuring database performance, security, and regular backups.
- Managing database indexes, partitions, and user access.
- Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, providing technical support.
- Collaborating with developers and IT teams on application issues and deployments.
- Planning for database scalability, upgrades, and data migration.
- Maintaining documentation and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database administration.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in database technologies such as MSSQL Server, MySQL, Cassandra, DB2and SQL scripting.
- Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and high availability database setups.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery procedures, and data security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices for database management is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Azure SQL Database) is a plus
Working Conditions
